An owned system may be conveyed with the property, subject to contract documents and any remaining obligations. Keep warranties, monitoring details and utility records organized.
Solar loan
Review the lender’s payoff requirements and how the loan is handled at closing. Do not assume a buyer can take over a loan.
Lease or PPA
A lease or power-purchase agreement may require buyer qualification, provider consent or other transfer steps. Check the agreement early and obtain current written instructions.
